TOGYZQUMALAQ is a commemorative coin of Kazakhstan dedicated to one of the oldest Kazakh national games, included in UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This intellectual board game is designed to develop logic, attentiveness, and strategic thinking. The design features the image of a traditional game board known since ancient times. On the reverse, the composition is complemented by 162 balls, exactly the number used in the classic game, with an ornamental rosette placed at the center. The obverse depicts the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, surrounded by decorative ornamentation and inscriptions bearing the country’s name.
