The National Bank of Kazakhstan has announced the launch of a new collectible silver coin, “QAZAQSTAN RESPUBLIKASYNYŊ PARLAMENTINE 30 JYL”, issued as part of the “Outstanding Events and People” series. The coin will be available for purchase through the National Bank’s online store starting July 10, 2026.
The release commemorates the 30th anniversary of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, celebrated on January 30, 2026. The Parliament is the country’s highest representative body, responsible for exercising legislative authority.
The reverse of the coin features the buildings of the Senate and the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The design is complemented by an ornamental motif inspired by the floor decoration of the Parliament’s main assembly hall. The lower part of the coin bears the year the Parliament was established alongside the anniversary year.
The coin is struck in 925 sterling silver using gilding technology. It has a weight of 24 grams, a diameter of 37 mm, a proof finish, and a face value of 1,000 tenge. The total mintage is limited to 1,000 pieces.
