The 100 ₸ coin, struck in cupronickel and weighing 15.00 g, is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Khajimukan Munaitpasov, an outstanding Kazakh wrestler and circus performer. He is regarded as the first professional wrestler in the history of the Kazakh people and one of the most prominent figures in national sport. Abroad, he was known by the names Yamagata Mukhanura, Kara Mustafa, and Mahmut. Khajimukan performed in more than 20 countries, drawing full houses in Harbin, Istanbul, Paris, Warsaw, London, and Berlin. He became the first Kazakh to win the world championship title in French wrestling. Over the course of his sporting career, Munaitpasov received 48 medals, and his name became a symbol of strength, endurance, and the international recognition of Kazakh sport.
