The Constitution is regarded as the foundation of the country’s legal system, an expression of its sovereignty, and a symbol of the unity of its citizens. The design features an open book representing the Basic Law. Above it appears the number 30 against the background of the outline map of Kazakhstan. At the center of the composition is the shanyrak, depicted as a symbol of the sun, emphasizing the ideas of life, continuity, and a shared home. The coin is struck in .925 silver, has a face value of 1000 ₸, and weighs 31.10 g.
