The 500 ₸ silver coin, weighing 31.10 g, is dedicated to one of the most famous Kazakh national games, “Kyz Kuu,” which translates as “Catch the Girl.” The design captures a dynamic moment of the horseback contest in which a young man tries to catch up with a female rider. Traditionally, this game was not only a test of agility, speed, and horsemanship, but also part of youth customs connected with choosing a partner. If the young man caught the girl, it was considered a sign of his worthiness and the seriousness of his intentions. Struck in .925 silver, the coin reflects an important layer of Kazakh culture, where competitiveness, respect for tradition, and the beauty of steppe life come together in one expressive scene.
