TOGYZQUMALAQ is a commemorative coin of Kazakhstan dedicated to one of the oldest Kazakh national games, included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list. This intellectual board game is associated with the development of logic, attentiveness, and strategic thinking. The reverse features an image of the traditional game board, known since ancient times. The inscription TOGYZQUMALAQ and the year are designed in the form of gilded playing balls, and the composition shows a total of 162 balls, exactly the number used in the game.
