The coin’s design features a fragment of the Kazakhstani international art project World Painting. The World Painting project is a large mosaic canvas assembled from elements created by participants from different countries. It was recognized by Guinness World Records as the artwork in whose creation the paintbrush was passed from person to person the greatest number of times. A total of 2,070 people from nearly 200 countries took part in creating the canvas.
The 2000 tenge coin was struck in .925 silver and weighs 62.20 g. Its artistic concept emphasizes people’s aspiration for harmony, mutual understanding, and peace regardless of nationality, faith, or place of residence.
