The 500 ₸ silver coin is struck in .925 silver and weighs 31.10 g. It is dedicated to the Regel tulip, a rare species regarded as one of the notable representatives of Kazakhstan’s flora. The design features holographic elements that add extra expressiveness to the image and highlight the plant’s decorative characteristics.
The Regel tulip grows only in the Chu-Ili Mountains, in the western part of Almaty Region and the eastern part of Zhambyl Region.
