The 50 ₸ commemorative coin of Kazakhstan is dedicated to the Venera-10 spacecraft and continues the space theme connected with the history of planetary exploration. Its design features the spacecraft itself, highlighting the importance of the Soviet Venus exploration program and the contribution of the space industry, which is closely linked with Kazakhstan. Particular attention is drawn to the lilac-colored tantalum insert, which makes the artistic concept more expressive and distinctive. The coin is made of nickel silver and weighs 11.17 g. The issue also received international recognition: this work was among the finalists of a competition in Warsaw in the Best Coin Innovation category.
