The coin is dedicated to the Order of Altyn Kyran, one of the highest state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is the first issue in the State Awards series, introducing some of the most important symbols of official recognition for outstanding service to the country. The order itself is awarded for an exceptional contribution to the development of the state, the strengthening of its authority, and distinguished service for the benefit of the republic.
