The coin series showcases the rich diversity of Kazakh national musical instruments, which hold significant cultural importance. Traditionally crafted from durable materials such as birch, pine, and oak, these instruments also incorporate bulrush, reed grass, clay, and animal skins, bones, and horns. Strings were often made from horse tail hair. The enchanting sounds produced by these folk instruments beautifully reflect the essence of the steppe, embodying its spiritual depth, history, and narratives. Some instruments are attributed with magical and mystical qualities.
