The 500 ₸ silver proof coin, weighing 24.00 g, is dedicated to one of the monuments of ancient rock art in Kazakhstan. Its design is based on a petroglyph from the Oi-Zhailau tract, located in the Kendyktas Mountains in the south of the country. The central element of the composition is the figure of a Turkic warrior, reflecting the ideas of early medieval nomads about strength, martial valor, and sacred protection. The image belongs to the ancient Turkic tradition of the 6th to 8th centuries and is associated with the culture of the Tugu Turks, or Turkutes. This issue highlights the importance of Kazakhstan’s archaeological heritage and the interest in preserving monuments that reflect the spiritual world and artistic traditions of the steppe peoples.
