In 2004, the Kazakhstan Mint joined the International Programme "The Smallest Coins of the World." Throughout its participation from 2004 to 2009, nine gold coins were introduced into circulation. The production of small coins, with diameters ranging from 11 to 13.92 mm, necessitates exceptional craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail. Specialists at the Kazakhstan Mint showcased their remarkable skills by creating these miniature masterpieces that reflect historical themes.
