Kazakhstan National Bank to sell 3 coins
On July 20, 2026, the National Bank of Kazakhstan will open sales of three collectible coins in its online store. The release includes BURABAY, SYǴANAQ,...

BURABAY depicts the lakes and rocky landscape of Burabay. The National Bank of Kazakhstan issued this silver coin on 16 July 2026 in the Natural Gems of Kazakhstan series. It has a face value of 1,000 tenge, a weight of 31.1 g, 925 silver fineness, a proof finish and a mintage of 2,000. The rectangular coin measures 45 × 30 mm and combines colour printing with an iridescent interference coating.
The obverse places Kazakhstan’s coat of arms within an ornamental design. The country’s name appears around it in Kazakh and English. Below are the silver, fineness and weight markings and the denomination, 1000 TENGE.
On the reverse, a colour landscape of a lake, woodland and rocks fills an outline map of Kazakhstan. QAZAQSTAN appears above the map; BURABAY and geographical coordinates sit below. Stylised animals and ornamental lines occupy the surrounding field.
BURABAY follows the 2024 SHYMBULAQ issue. Both are 31.1 g silver coins with a face value of 1,000 tenge. Their subjects and mintages differ: 1,000 pieces for SHYMBULAQ and 2,000 for BURABAY.
