The 50 ₸ commemorative coin of Kazakhstan is dedicated to the Taikazan, one of the most renowned relic symbols of Turkic culture. For the peoples of the steppe, the cauldron has long symbolized unity, prosperity, and a home that is always open to guests. The design is inspired by the famous Taikazan kept in the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in Turkestan. This vessel is distinguished by its exceptional size and rich decorative ornamentation, and in folk tradition it is associated with a legend that it was cast from an alloy of seven metals. The coin is made of nickel silver and weighs 11.17 g. Its design draws attention not only to an outstanding historical monument, but also to the spiritual significance of an object that for centuries has been regarded as a symbol of harmony, community, and the continuity of cultural traditions.
