The commemorative coin KIIZ UI is dedicated to the yurt as one of the most important symbols of the traditional culture of the nomadic peoples of Kazakhstan. Its artistic design conveys the idea of the yurt as a space reflecting a way of life, a worldview, and the connection between human beings and the surrounding world. On the obverse, against a background of stylized images of yurts and the steppe, are the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the country name QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY, and the denomination of 5000 tenge. The obverse also includes the metal and weight specifications: Ag 925 silver, 1000 g. The reverse depicts a yurt, elements of its interior decoration, and household items associated with the ethnocultural life of nomads, as well as the inscription KIIZ UI.
