The 500 ₸ commemorative coin KÓSHPENDI SADAǴY is struck in .925 silver and weighs 31.10 g. Its artistic concept draws on the image of the bow, which since ancient times has been regarded as an inseparable part of nomadic life and a symbol of strength, agility, and competitive spirit. The reverse depicts a nomadic warrior releasing an arrow from a bow, while the composition is complemented by motifs of rock art featuring archers. In the upper part, flying arrows emphasize the importance of this weapon in steppe culture. The obverse is designed as an allegory of protection: at its center is the State Emblem of Kazakhstan, surrounded by an ornamental rosette. Around the edge are the inscriptions QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY and REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN, as well as other markings specified in the coin’s design.
