The 100 tenge silver coin is dedicated to the zodiac sign Taurus and is part of the Kazakhstani series "ZODIAC SIGNS - KAZAKHSTAN" designed in the style of ancient rock art. The issue was struck in 2018 in .925 silver combined with a tantalum insert, the color of which corresponds to the element associated with the sign. The coin weighs 25 grams, containing 10 grams of silver and 15 grams of tantalum. The obverse features an inscription naming the National Bank of Kazakhstan, images of the zodiac signs, and a stylized sun created using color printing. The reverse displays artistically interpreted images of the zodiac constellations, their symbolic signs, and the name of the corresponding sign. A distinctive feature of this issue is its unusual octagonal shape, which emphasizes the coin’s decorative character and makes it stand out within the series.
